[ Frame Specifics ]Display Light as Architecture

The shelf and cabinet lighting in the showroom is not background — it is part of the design, setting the rhythm of the shelving and highlighting the object compositions. We preserved that pattern of light without letting it consume the rest of the frame: each scene’s exposure was merged from a series in which the glowing sections, the dark veneer and the white walls were worked out separately.

[ Frame Specifics ]Living Scenarios Instead of a Retail Floor

The sofa and lounge zones were photographed the way private residences are: with diagonal axes, air between the pieces and second-plane details — books, objets d’art, textiles. The terracotta leather of the armchair, the ornamental cushions and the marble deep in the shelving assemble in the frame into the story of a lived-in home rather than an exhibition stand.

Behind-the-scenes documentation of an interview with Emmanuel Gallina, designer and Art Director at Poliform. Produced for the BY STORM team inside the Poliform Astana showroom, focusing on the atmosphere, interior details and the production process.

The photographs capture the working atmosphere, spatial details, and the interaction between design, architecture, and people throughout the interview production. While documentary in nature, the images preserve the refined aesthetic and character of the Poliform showroom.
