Interior Photography in Astana and Almaty
Turning interiors into compelling visual assets — from apartments to VIP banking spaces and flagship restaurants
About interior photography
Professional interior photography creates lasting visual assets that work for you long after the shoot: attracting clients, selling properties, and becoming the centrepiece of an architect's or interior designer's portfolio.
MOSS Bureau has 14 years of experience photographing interiors in Astana and Almaty — from 60m² apartments to VIP banking spaces and flagship restaurants. We use tilt-shift lenses, HDR blending and polarising filters to deliver editorial-quality images ready for publication.
Our workflow: pre-shoot consultation, precision lighting setup, full post-processing including geometry correction, colour grading and retouching. Final high-resolution files delivered in 5–7 business days.
What's included
How the shoot works
Brief and shoot plan
We discuss the space, goals and references: designer portfolio, sale or rental listing. We estimate the number of angles and pick a date — choosing the best time for natural light.
Preparing the interior
You receive a preparation checklist: cleaning, decor, textiles, the small details visible in frame. If needed, we help with staging during the shoot — included in the price.
The shoot
We work with a tripod, precise geometry and balanced light. Every angle is approved on site — you see the frames on the camera screen. An apartment takes 2–3 hours, a house or larger property from 4 hours.
Selection and retouching
We select the best frames and retouch each one by hand: colour, verticals, depth, removing distracting details. No assembly-line presets — every interior has its own character.
File delivery
Final photos in high resolution for print plus optimised versions for web and social media — delivered via cloud within 10-14 business days. Rush delivery in 48 hours available on request.

Frequently asked questions
How long does an apartment shoot take?
An apartment up to 100 m² takes 2–3 hours. That covers 15–20 considered angles: wide views of each room, space transitions and details. Houses and larger apartments take 4+ hours.
How should I prepare the interior?
After booking you receive a checklist: deep cleaning, steamed textiles, hidden cables and personal items, working light bulbs. Fresh flowers and simple table arrangements visibly enliven the frame. Final decor styling is done together during the shoot.
Do I need to be present at the shoot?
Preferable but not required. With the designer or owner on site we approve angles and accents immediately. If you cannot attend, keys and references are enough — we send frames for approval during the shoot.
How many photos will I receive and when?
Typically 15–25 retouched frames per apartment, depending on size and goals. Delivery within 5–7 business days after the shoot. All photos come in full resolution without watermarks.
Can you shoot the interior in evening light?
Yes — and it is often the best choice: dusk shots with warm artificial light convey the atmosphere better than daylight. For facades and panoramic windows we plan around the blue hour — a 20–30 minute window at sunset.
Who owns the rights to the photos?
You receive unlimited usage rights with no time limit: website, social media, portfolio, advertising, print. We retain authorship and the right to show the work in our own portfolio — standard industry practice.
